My Doctor Refuses to Prescribe Medical Marijuana

I have sever arthritis in my lower back and some days, I can’t even get up. Well, I can, but I’m miserable.

My doctor has me taking Percacets up to 4 times a day. Frankly, I’m sick of them. I’m sick of the high. I would much prefer putting a little oil or whatever the stuff is in to coffee. I’ve looked and there’s CBD so I don’t have to feel high all the time, but, to be honest, a little THC to deal with pain isn’t out of the question.

Anyways, if the marijuana is in exchange for percs, why wouldn’t he prescribe it?? He’s just against it, which I don’t understand at all.

Isn’t prescribing medical M a thing now? Can he refuse? Should I go to a different doctor? I really don’t want to because I’ve been with him 25 yrs now. Frustrating…

  1. Compassion Club here in Sudbury. Excellent

  2. Get a new Doc. Any doc. can put in a request for you to get your MM licence. I have mine. But your Doc. doesn’t prescribe MM, you have to go see a MM Doc. your Doc. will have to send them all your medical records in regard to your condition.Let your Doc. know if he does not honor your request, you will be seeking a new Doc… of luck.

  3. Time for a new doctor <3
