Negative Review for Her Majesty’s Pleasure…

I got a gift card for HMP which was exciting since the place looks beautiful.

I tried to book appts for myself and a friend 2 weeks in advance. The online booking was a total disaster and made it impossible to book for 2 (which is shocking considering the place totes having a cocktail and treat with a friend while getting your services).

I ended up calling and weaved through a silly automated system and ended up leaving a vm with the “reservation concierge.” I didn’t hear back. I tried again 3 more times that week leaving various vms. No one ever returned my call.

I ended up tweeting at them and hearing back. They asked for my info and said to expect a call. No one called.

I ended up walking into the place on the day my one appt was, mentioning my many calls and twitter interaction and was met with blank stares by a staff member multitasking.
I left.
A week after all this, a concierge returned my call. (3 weeks after I’d called the first time). *sigh*

But for my gift card, I’d never bother. But looks like I might have to get 100 bucks worth of pastries and bounce.
